Overview
Prune Photos Cleaner is designed to work fully offline and privately. Your photos and videos never leave your device.
Photos and Videos
Prune requests access to your photo library in order to help you review and manage photos and videos.
- All photos and videos are processed locally on your device.
- No photos or videos are uploaded to any server.
- No photos or videos are shared with third parties.
The app may request full photo library access. You can choose limited access in iOS system settings.
Data Stored on Your Device
- Internal photo identifiers provided by the iOS Photos framework.
- Status information such as items marked for later deletion and selected dates.
- App preferences and counters, including cleaned storage size.
All data is stored only on your device and is removed when the app is deleted.
Diagnostic Data
To improve app stability and fix bugs, Prune uses a third party service for crash reporting and diagnostic purposes.

- App version
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Navigation breadcrumbs immediately before a crash
IP addresses are not collected. No personal identifiers or user IDs are used. Diagnostic data is used only to identify and fix technical issues.
No Analytics or Tracking
Prune does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or App Tracking Transparency.
Children’s Privacy
Prune does not knowingly collect personal data from users of any age.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA. Since Prune does not collect personal data, most of these rights are satisfied by design.
